MEET MIKKIE
Micaela Janae Lamas is an Afro-Latina actor, singer, and dancer born & raised in the Rio Grande Valley (Mission, TX). She received her BFA in Musical Theatre under the direction of Kaitlin Hopkins at Texas State University.
Micaela has been singing since she was just three years old, although not completely involved in the arts until she was in high school, her love for musical theatre only grew with her.
When she’s not performing, Micaela is dabbling in short screenwriting, directing, and freelance makeup. Mikkie hopes to create art for every individual, especially those who are underrepresented in the industry.
